A leading company within the multifamily industry has become one of the more experienced real estate advisers in the country. This company has a history of excellent results for its partners and clients are responsible for the sponsorship and management of over $1 billion of real estate acquisitions. This multifamily property management company has focused on the acquisition, financing, ownership, management, and disposition of apartment communities located primarily in the Southeastern United States. The current management portfolio consists of more than 10,000 apartments with management and construction subsidiaries work together as a team for third-party clients in order to create a true, full-service multifamily real estate company. Its investment portfolio includes A, B, and C quality assets which require varied reporting to meet owner and lender objectives.
The ideal candidate should be able to embrace a culture that is operates at a high sense or urgency while maintaining systems and strategies that are the height of professional expectations. This company is looking for the individual to come in and take charge… leading by example using innovation and creativity. Additionally, as a true business partner to the CEO, the comptroller will develop and assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and company’s long-term strategy and be charged with developing tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO while making actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations. Further, you will be expected to engage the board around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery while simultaneously assist in establishing yearly objectives and meeting agendas, selecting and engaging outside consultants (auditors, investment advisors) and creating and overseeing long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with company strategic plan. Candidate must have a deep knowledge and understanding in taxation and audited financials. This company offers a competitive base salary + bonus of 110-160K + DOE, and an attractive benefits package.
